Wildlife in Mauritius.

The shots were taken in vaious locations in Mauritius while staying at La Pirogue Hotel in Flic en Flac.

Some species are native to the island whilst others have been introduced accidentally or intentionally by man.

Native birds include the Village Weaver, Fody and Waxbill. Introduced species include the Flamingo, Myna and the Bulbul.

Reptiles include the brightly coloured native Mauritian Day Gecko.
